On March 13, 2025, the Ministry of Finance, Banking & Postal Services, supported by the Chief Secretary and Chairperson of the Budget Coordinating Committee and the Secretary of MOFBPS, successfully launched the FY2026 Budget Development Workshop.
Day 1 focused on macro-level budget formulation, covering:
- FY23 actual expenditures
- Performance-based budgeting
- Business Plans for State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs)
- Subrecipient grantee monitoring & reporting
Heads of Department, senior staff, and technical budget teams actively participated, laying the groundwork for a strong budget plan.
The workshop continues tomorrow, March 14, 2025, with a focus on the technical aspects of budget development.
