What We Do
The State-Owned Enterprises Monitoring Unit (SOEMU), part of the Ministry of Finance, is dedicated to overseeing the performance and governance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in compliance with the State-owned Enterprises Act, 2015.
Key Functions of the Division
- Performance Monitoring: Regular reviews of SOE Business Plans, Half-Year, and Annual Reports.
- Communication: Maintain ongoing correspondence with SOEs and monitor media coverage.
- Data Management: Keep performance records and assist in reporting to the Minister.
- Governance Support: Aid SOE Boards with performance reviews and governance arrangements.
Training: Provide resources and training for new SOE directors.
